Madgalen Swing Band
Magdalen Swing Band is one of Oxfords premiere big bands, based in Magdalen College with members from throughout the university. Recently we performed at the St Peter's Ball, Magdalen and Wadham Arts' Festivals, various charity events and a number of jazz soirees. The band is in general non-auditioning, although this may change if we find we have more people asking to join than are needed. As a group we combine a fun, informal environment with a high standard of playing. Rehearsals are Saturdays from 11.00am until 1pm in the Magdalen Auditorium - if you'd like more information, please contact Swing Band Manager Owain Johnstone, or check out their website: www.magdalenswingband.co.uk
